Come Suffer With Me

Suffering is not a topic on the list that most people would like to talk about. In contrast, joy, happiness, and pleasure are definitely something people would love to discuss on a daily basis because it is more appeasing to our bodily senses and nature.

Suffering is to feel or endure pain; to bear loss, damage, or injury. Who on God’s green earth desires to endure pain or bear any loss?

Jesus suffered and died on that old rugged cross. Yes our Redeemer suffered and died for the sins of mankind.

Who knew that abundant life, victory, rewards, and eternal life can come out of your suffering for Christ sake?

Mathew 16:21-27 says to deny myself or my worldly desires, take up my cross and follow Christ. To deny myself is to refuse to recognize or acknowledge. To reject that which is false.

We must lose our life to Christ. This means give your life to Christ; present your body as a living sacrifice, Holy, Acceptable unto God which is your reasonable service. Rom 12: 1.

Take up your cross and follow Christ is abundant life!

The cross represents suffering and death. We must kill the flesh in order to truly live again. When you give your life to Christ, you will find who you really are. Your identity is in Christ.

THE REWARD for the Believer and Unbeliever

Rev. 21:8 says that those who do not Suffer and give their life to Christ, such as, the fearful, and unbelieving, the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burn with fire and brimstone.

But to suffer for Christ sake is to gain eternal life with the King of Kings!!

My name is in that book of Life.  And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there by any more pain (vs.4). Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God (vs.3). Amen!
