When I look to the Hills from whence comes my help, I know my help comes from the Lord.

Learning to trust God in everything can be a challenge, because it’s so easy to try to handle things on our own within our own strength and abilities.

If we were strong enough to fix everything, then Jesus Christ would not have had to leave His throne in Heaven to come to earth. He would not have had to die on that old rugged cross for the sins of the world.  He would not have had to endure the persecution and temptations. Oh but I’m so glad He did because I who was born into sin and shaped in iniquity, was not qualified to die for my own sins. Only Christ who knew no sin could take my pain, punishment, sins, and give me the right to eternal life through faith in Him.

What an amazing gift! My help comes from Christ; I will always trust that God is the answer to all of life’s problems. He’s the savior, the redeemer, the deliverer.

It’s all about Jesus; it’s not about us. This is the season to keep our eyes fixed on Him because He sits on the throne, and He desires to sit on the throne in your heart.

When you are weak, He is strong. When you are sick, he is the healer. When you are sad, He brings joy on the inside. When you are poor, he makes you rich.

There is no greater love than the love of Jesus Christ. May He increase that I will decrease because it’s not about me; it’s about Jesus.  It’s always been about Him; to God be the Glory.
